Our Mission

Our charity, The Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation, is raising money to help aid the prevention of domestic abuse. Since the rise of COVID-19 and the stay at home order, domestic violence has reportedly doubled in the United States, meaning that approximately 48 people per minute are made victims of physical violence, rape, or abuse. Furthermore, this number is expected to triple in the coming weeks coinciding with the peak of COVID-19 and the reported stress that comes with it. It is predicted to follow in China’s footsteps, which reported triple the amount of domestic violence from the month of January to February than the previous weeks.

Our mission is to help break the cycle and provide aid so that this number does not continue to grow.

We are proud to announce that we have raised around $10,000 already and have successfully donated the funds equally to ThePeopleConcern, Project Peacemakers, and Domesticshelters.org.

We are currently working on our next mission. If you would like to be involved in any way, please feel free to visit our contact us page and email our founder directly.
